Welcome to my place. My name is Tini and I'm a survivor of child sexual abuse and rape.
This is a site dedicated to survivors of rape and sexual abuse where you will hopefully find help, valid
information, inspiration, and healing. Please be careful while reading it because some of the content
may be triggering.

Updates
02/19/05 It's been a while since my last update. Heather, who is both my soulmate and one
of my best friends, has let me use some of her awesome poetry on this site. I also added a new link.
Furthermore I re-did some of the page's structure, which means that not all sites are still displayed in
the navigation bar. In order to offer a better overview, they now appear as sub-sites and are linked in the respective
section.
11/11/04 Sabine Dardenne, victim of Belgian paedophile Marc Dutroux, has published a book
about her experiences that I encourage everyone to read. So far, it is available in French ("J'avais 12 ans, j'ai pris mon vélo et je suis parti a l'école...") and in German ("Ihm in die Augen sehen"). An English version ("I chose to live") will be published in spring 2005.
Other than that,
there is not much to update, except for some poetry.
10/27/04 Updated all the pictures.
10/21/04 I just returned from a trip to Rome and added a poem I wrote there. I might also add new pictures from my trip over the next few days.
10/13/04 Edited the structure of the site and added a poem.
10/07/04 Editing, editing, editing... and (hopefully) finally getting rid of all the typos.

09/28/04 Other survivors have come forward to share their story and their artwork with me. I am humbled by their courage, their strength, and their talent. Additionally, I also put up a list of the effects that sexual violence can have on survivors.
09/27/04 I wouldn't have been able to survive without the help of numerous people. Thank you. There are never enough words.
